'London is doomed' is different because it's not like people are going to start moving to a different British city instead, whereas the "NYC is doomed" stuff is about Americans moving to different US cities/areas

Like maybe London's position in financial services declines and it gets less wealthy, there's still going to be massive internal (and probably international) migration to there.
