probably a book (trading volatility, bennett)? i think its really not conducive to a post because of the learning curve. trading underlying to options is a big jump in complexity, i don’t feel like there’s a folksy middle ground that is helpful. its a commitment to do it right.

it must be very annoying for taleb that his only good book is the one he wrote before he developed aspirations to be ‘literary’

In my early days I bought many books eagerly trying to learn and was out of many quid. I honestly can say Taleb was probably only book in that collection helpful in any practical fashion - and even that too was just an introduction.
