Serious question, given it’s so valuable how come they haven’t sought to manage the flow themselves?
Because they don’t have a trading desk, low latency connections or any experience managing high frequency order flow?

That’s true, but they could end up buying a (smaller) HFT firm to get into this area, if they have enough cash. Realise to grow something like this organically could take time.
