I’m trying a wine from http://wineaccess.com . It’s incredible. Unlike anything I’ve had from Naked. Yet. It also cost 4x the avg bottle I order on Naked and took 5 weeks to get here (rather than 1-2 days).

...and that’s great, some of them may produce incredible wines in 1-20 years when they have found their feet, but for the most part they are not there now. Much better value to be found in producers who have been going 40+ years who already know what they are doing.

All that said, I had a bottle of Benjamin Darnault Repasse de Montagne and while you could never call it subtle or refined, it packed a massive punch for the price, would definitely drink again.

There is no reason why Naked can't evolve to higher price points in the future IMO. As Naked scales, the higher quality winemakers will also be attracted by the opportunity
