      No. While Tether has a sketchy regulatory history, it's not the outright fraud the Tether truthers claim it is. Large crypto trading desks have no problem creating or redeeming hundreds of millions of Tether.

      Serious question: why would anyone bother creating/redeeming Tether at all? Rather than just exchanging USD for crypto directly?
