Read REAMDE, didn’t really like it, then for some absolutely insane reason I also bought Fall (which I read for about 50 pages then gave up on).
Guy has written some outstanding books (snow crash, diamond age, cryptonomicon/baroque cycle, first 2/3 of seveneves) but also some absolute trash. Just write historical fiction neal, we’ll love you more for it.
