Yep, seems like you are relying on tanks to do their job effectively in order for you to accomplish anything. You can kill half their team each fight but lose because your tanks are clueless
I personally really struggle to climb because my best heroes are all pretty trash and I feel I still lose many games out of my control. Tank is way easier to climb because you can easily control the match, support is easier to climb because you can enable those tanks to win for u
