I know genji is trash but deflect's hitbox makes 0 sense and I've been killed by so many things where I've shot to the side or above the genji or even straight at the floor and its somehow been deflected

it has a cast time... doesn't deflect until blade is horizontal
so... why does it make the sound of deflecting when it actually doesnt? Why does a cast time so short even exist if it is that short?

there’s a cast time on hammonds adaptive shield and mines, that’s so short you don’t notice unless someone accidentally kills/stuns you in the middle deploying them.

I will say those are cast times that both are also very negligible, so why do they exist. I can understand why you would want to punish poor usage of ultimate abilities like minefield, pulse bomb, nano boost etc because they are ultimates (inherently more powerful)
