      It was a good start, remembering that before its inception, there was no attempt to reconcile for past mistakes. I agree with you though, more should be done.

      In 2008, after 150+ years of slavery, stealing children from their families and oppression of the Aboriginal people, Kevin Rudd gave a half assed apology which was a RECOMMENDATION?? by the The National Inquiry into the Separation of Aboriginal Children from their Families.

      I 100% agree. Racism and all forms of discrimination is bad, unhelpful to society and unnecessary and simply saying sorry doesn't actually mend the severed relationships of the past.
