Definitely been there. tl;dr - Outflank, Pivot, & (if needed) Launch Escape Pod - Build solid working relationships in your team (ur prob not alone) & with other teams, get your name & skills out there - Leverage to move to diff area of org - Begin interviewing just in case

"But wait!" they may say. "Why not go to HR?" Straight up - 30+ yrs of corporate, I've reported utter abusive garbage leaders, had friends report same, very clear-cut cases, documented. HR never did a damn useful thing. Usually the opposite. HR protects the org, not you.
