Tried to recreate this twice today but couldn’t either time. Yesterday the women in front of me and next to me both used contactless OMNY to enter. Could they have activated the reader which then grabbed my phone’s signal? Whereas today the reader was “asleep”?

It’s the Express Transit card. I have it turned on for both my phone and watch, never had a problem.
