Great point, thank you . Every time we estimate a causal effect (ceteris paribus) we must remember what is being held "paribus". If we hold school funding constant and use variation in migrant presence, we're estimating one kind of treatment effect.

Thank you for sharing the article, professor. Truly relevant in the context of the Venezuelan humanitarian crisis. I have a small doubt, however. From what I read; the paper dismisses class size effects as the main driver of the detrimental impact of migrants on educ. outcomes.
