Fixing an old Icom IC-PS20 power supply that's been "got at" by a previous owner or two! The two dead switching transistors had never been touched though. Now to find a modern 2SC2541 equivalent. 🤣

Anyone else see a weird 300us glitch when using an FT2232H mini-module for GPIO accesses? Glitch on all IO pins before output is correct. Had to add "True" to the gpio.close() to freeze after disconnect. Seems the gpio.configure(...) is issue.

Originally developed for Japanese company Busicom as part of a chipset for a calculator. Intel famously gave Busicom its money back in exchange for the rights to the design. Busicom went bankrupt in the Japanese recession of 1974.

GB3CE seems very wide - 20 kHz seems excessive. The harmonics from the CW ID can be seen 10 kHz away from the carrier.

Is there a schematic about of how AMBE-3000 vocoders are connected to FTDI UARTs? I understand that there are a few boards around which do this (DVSI also have a block diagram of such a design) but I was after specifics. I'd like to put 4 vocoders onto an FT4232H or similar.
