Dear m0rph3us, can you explain to us why your payload need of more tries to be applied succesfully ? I am on fw 4.05 yet and i am reading many comments on several websites/forums where the users are saying that they must try to apply your payload more times.
For anyone who keeps asking. I am not going to update holy grail to support ext hdd backup loading. I released the payload to support homebrews and not piracy, so go away!

Problem isn't payload itself. Remember, by patching the kernel at runtime you are doing stuff that isn't supposed to be done, and you can cause other kernel tasks (running at the same time) to crash (because you disturb them) causing a panic.

Problem isn't that ps4 can't play your backups, but your kids using the discs as toy. Buy your games directly in digital form and you will not need any backups.

Ähm...It is already possible Just let the PS4 format the Ext-HDD as extended Storage and you can move all installed internal application/games to the external HDD.
