@avibryant Bars are log-scaled, so it'd be tricky to convey uncertainty accurately---that's why we decided on qualitative axis w/ wiggles.

@lynaghk I love it. Does anyone do these kinds of wiggles rigorously, ie, fraction of time bar is height X = probability that value is X? -
@avibryant Not that I'm aware of; usually animation/interaction is an excuse for poor static design, but for σ it may be a good fit.
