Super happy to receive a 2nd Golden Owl Teaching Award by ETH's students association! Kudos to my amazing team of TAs. Part of our lectures consists in having ~100 students build their own Internet infrastructure, a project that we've now open-sourced: – mjesto: ETH Zürich

I'm thrilled to announce that I've been awarded an Starting Grant! The grant (SyNET) aims at automatically generating correct network (configurations) rather than verifying them. I'll be recruiting students/postdocs soon->ping me!

Nice article by Mattijs on our paper that he led. We analyzed 3 years of BGP blackholing and DoS data. A surprising finding is retention times that sometimes appear excessive and suggest lack of automation:4% seem to restore connectivity more than 1 day after the attack!

This happened. A PhD student took his own life because of alleged pressure to commit and perpetuate academic fraud. After reading this article and the notes/text messages in both languages, I am floored and incredibly sad. This is the worst of academia, and we cannot let it stand

Our second paper is "SP-PIFO: Approximating Push-In First-Out Behaviors using Strict-Priority Queues". SP-PIFO enables programmable packet scheduling by allowing to perfectly reorder packets at line rate. AFAIK, SP-PIFO is the first scalable implementation of PIFO queues.
