  I haven't watched it yet, and I've only been seeing good reviews online. My friend hated it though, because in his words "the new eva movie went the generic anime route. EoE had more heart and is a masterpiece" I dont want too many spoilers, but do you agree with that?

  I liked the series just ending with "End of Evangelion" cause I thought the implication was Shinji and Asuka had to be the new Adam and Eve, but the fun twist is they fucking despise each other.
