I grew up in a working class family, we got sweaty and gross every day, my dad came home (still does) covered in oil and grease (mechanic), that and living w/o ac guaranteed our ass got showered and scrubbed once a day.

I'm still shocked by all the news of celebrities not showering. I shower when I first wake up, then when I get home from work. Every day. I've worked with people who have admitted only showering once a month. Like why don't you want to be clean and smell good? I don't get it.

for me personally: depression. i used to shower only every 1 - 2 weeks just because i could not bring myself to. only when it was bothersome enough to encourage me did i shower. amusingly or sadly, the only reason I've managed to get myself to shower daily lately is because 1/2
