We've been slowly working our way through the RE franchise on YouTube and I constantly have the quick cycle of "oh, this game is about as long as the last one!" to "oh right, they're all basically the same length, got it"

I'm gonna beat it like 50 times though My Wii said I had like 200 hours in RE4

I didn't know the Wii tracked cumulative game time. I thought it just broke down every individual day.

I feel like RE:make 2 with its 4 different play throughs (even though each individual play through was short like usual) gave people new to the series the wrong idea about how long these games actually are.

also like, the reason resident evil feels long is because even the newer ones make you backtrack a lot or find new doors on places, so it gives off the feeling that you've spent hours on the same place RE:3 remake changed locations a lot and felt extremely short because of that

On god resi games were made to be replayed, the effective length of a resi game can be as long as there are ideas or achievements to get Also if people wanted a long resi game they would play RE6
