  Wouldn't say victory for preservation. There are still issues with the CMOS battery that will persist. They need to fix that. But it was a good move for now from their part. Hope they can do something about those issues as well.

  And if it's not feasible to get everything playing on PS5, then Sony should make a separate machine. I'd rather pay $500 for a console that plays everything pre-PS4 (handhelds included) than deal with a PS5 that only goes back to the PS4.
