        I'm no expert on the DMC series, but I love how they keep making Dante into the deadbeat Uncle, who claims to have been a "God" in high school, despite being a loser back than too

        He has definately become an uncle figure but I wouldn't qualify him as a deadbeat. Dante deeply cares for people (part of why he seems unhappy) and Nero values Dante's respect even though Dante hasn't been particularly successful in his personal or business life.
