This is... like pretty much how the manga goes. It's a bunch of tiny gag vignettes that have a significant emphasis on static, dramatic poses.

not like the whole charm of this series even is the animation, I've seen both gokudolls and detroit metal city, both having little to no animation and laughed my ass off
