  It's literally called "Biohazard", so anything from zombies to vampires makes sense. Though the "everyone's turning into monsters even my grandma" thing should stay the same, I think.

  I can see that, viruses can mutate into completely new strains that adhere to different effects years later down the line. It also adds new & creative designs & ideas that would be stagnant if kept exclusively with just zombies.
