Yknow, in asking about Paradise Killer, there aren't that many detective / mystery games. Observer was the last great one I played, and there's Disco Elysium obviously but that can wait. Any other suggestions?
Depends; if you are feeling like a touch of horror into the mix, I reccomend the Spirit Hunter series; you track down a ghost and have to look for clues to understand its nature and take it down, visually striking, a bit gorey and weird but pumping rthythm

However, if you prefer not so mechanically weird, Raging Loop is a a VN about uncovering who might be a cult follower, and somehow, the protag manages to outsmart most players, highly reccomend

Honestly I want to scour for clues and interrogate suspects. Had I been able to stream Disco without my voice falling apart it'd be my favourite game ever at this point, but I'm glad I waited.
