Im genuinely confused on why it was eligible for that but wasn't in the Best Ongoing category.

Because ongoing means the devs did something for the game to improve this year... maybe with the next map they can win next year but I still find it unfair anyway.

Among Us really is proof that streamers and content creators drive a game's success, by all means it should have died out just like Fall Guys for the same reasons (lack of variation in gameplay, lack of meaningful new content) but content creators kept it going
