So the only reason I'll do something like spend 60 hours in a Yakuza game is because it's well written and the side content is fun and just there to make the world feel alive, I'll do skyrim for 100+ because I can pick it and drop it whenever I want

but advertise that your game is too fucking long for even the devs and that immediately sends red flags of management demanded too much and it's clear management is the problem. which given the press of 2077 is accurate

you have to be very special for me to invest more than the 6 hours of a normal game into you

But when an rpg promises 30 hours of a tidy story with 10+ hours of side quests? Best believe I'll spend at least 60 hours in the game

I personally enjoy games like that. When I pay 60 bucks, I like stuff that makes it feel like I’m getting a lot from it. Plus, I don’t see it much different than spending 1,000s of hours on online games like overwatch or GTA. If the content is still good, the more the better.

Saw the One Piece PFP and assumed you loved long stories before even reading your comment ;P

I’ve played so many RPGs & JRPGs over the years and still get overwhelmed with them, sometimes, whether it’s a new playthrough or not
