Curious, not trying to debate this with anyone but BOTW 2, should weapons still have the durability system or no?

I like the idea of grabbing like 20 different moblin weapons, breaking them down for parts, and using them to craft 1 super good moblin weapon. Anything to fix the system of your weapon inventory always being full.

Weapons, like monster parts, are a 'reward' for killing enemies. Having unbreakable weapons removes one of the rewards. So whatever system replaces them has to make it so that you can still use weapons as a reward. Without that there's even less reason to engage in combat.
