Weapons that break suck, but at the end of the day that system is what makes everything else in botw work

What is durability but ammunition for melee weapons?

Well the difference is when you run out of ammo in most games the weapon doesn't also disappear. If you your weapons became unusable but were still fixable at a high cost that would be a lot better imo

Either keep as is or overhaul. Crafting/fixing isn't the solution either. Weapons are a resource. They chose weapon durability over something like hunger or being tired. But no one complains about hunger systems in other games. It's accepted.

I would like if Link could use the slate to take pictures of things and when you have 3 pictures, he thinks of a resipe for a weapon you can craft

A way to fix weapons with an added way to see the durability of your weapons. Doesn't need to be a bar or anything like Minecraft but maybe when you're down to 20 or less hits of your weapon an icon appears on it in the inventory.
