Not gonna lie, the fact that no vtuber was nominated for content creator of the year by TGA seems like missed opportunity They are always relevant and have carried many of us throughout the year.

Don't the nominees have to physically go to the event? That might be a problem for a vtuber

The awards are all about the show, so having the vtuber appear on the screen just to get a 3d model of the award could be the most watched clip of the night. Easily

I think had the EN HL members debuted a bit earlier this year, we’d have seen some of them as nominees..Would’ve been cool to see Korone in there though!

It feels like it just makes too much sense to have Korone be nominated considering how big and popular she became. Though there’s most likely an English speaking bias in the noms that could be considered part of the problem

Then get Gura. She has even more subs than any of the other Hololive Vtubers, and she speaks english. She wasn't around for most of 2020, sure, but the EN girls have made a huge impact on the Vtubing scene.
