the game is great. its a new start to the series even if its technically the 7th main entry. Yakuza 1-6 is Kiryus story (for the most part). Like A Dragon is hopefully a new series of games that star Ichiban and his friends while happening to take place within the same world.
10th if you count Black Panther entries-

true you got 0 and all that but in a way this is a soft-reboot. probably not recommended to be your first entry but its a good start because it doesn't expect you to know the whole series.
