You're not wrong but just going around finding chests, solving challenges, finding orbs and spirits, and fighting enemies has been a ton of fun to me. Locking the domains to certain ranks hasn't really lowered my fun any cause the small tastes I've gotten are generic.

No it's totally fine. I get why it's annoying cause it's an open world game and there's always the desire to wanna see all you can.
