I like the idea of expanding one big Pokémon game, but also, one remake per Gen wouldn’t be opposed. I mean, really, Gen IV kinda had the right idea. That one lasted a real long time through DP, Pt, HGSS, and loads of spin-offs.

Just, instead of spin-offs, use those resources to expand the base game for the system.

Yea it would be great if they went the MH World route, cause they kinda do the same thing in terms of the games: the base game comes out first, then a year or so later an enhanced version comes out. It would be cool if they made one big game and kept doing this DLC stuff

This seems like a good approach for people who are really into Pokémon, but I’m curious what the uptake would be for casual folks. I feel like a lot of people just explore a new place, beat the gyms, beat the final four, and then drop the game until the next one.
