Basically if they wanna put a good product, making 4 different instances might be way too much so what if they instead release a pokemon game each gen that keeps getting content as the generation goes by?

Not like online only fomo bs, but like they add content so you can access it at any given time once released like each year they could release a complete pack with Pokemon Whatever Year 1 + year 2 pass so everyone can catch up

It is bad but the anime and the TCG exists, pokémon really can't stay in 1 generation for too long because it's multimidia

Weirdly, the TCG doesn't move forward that fast, from what I can tell. (I am just getting into it now) The Sun/Moon sets went on for some 4 years, no problem. same with X&Y before it. I'm sure its scheduled, at least in part, by TPC, but still
