I've had a galaxy s7 edge for like maybe 3 or more years at this point and its alive and well! Only issue is the battery life is getting worse but that's expected, the idea of people buying new phones frequently...eludes my mind

I had a Pixel 2 XL for three years about, and then it kicked the bucket. Opted for a Galaxy S20 since Pixel 3 and 4 are trash. I like the S20, and plan to use it for the next 3-5 years hopefully.

Bought a huawei P30 phone deal for £24 a month and it's still got better specs than upcoming new phones The only argument folk have against it is "nooooooo the Chinese are stealing your data! It's huawei tech!" I don't care fam if they don't my own country will

Ever since smartphones became a thing I've never felt like wanting to upgrade it yearly. I mean why would you? You don't upgrade pc parts every time something new comes out. It's one of life's greatest mysteries of why people do it. Personally I think it's just a status thing.

I have a note 10 and I plan on keeping it for a while. All these new phone are ridiculous.

I dont buy phones, i get the one from my mom who gets hers from my brother who gets his by buying it off a friend who gets a new one every few years. It works.
