I'm pretty sure F-Zero is a first party game, for Nintendo? But I might be missing some link like how Rare has some rights to spin off Donkey Kong characters.

Yeah as I said in my original post, being mad at people that were happy about their game coming out because yours didn't, especially in this sort of situation is entirely pointless.
