I mean, if they can have discount days like my theater does id be down, but that would also mean a huge hit on family owned theaters which I'd like to support

Options are always nice and not all kinds of movies benefit from the theater experience also alot of people's home set ups nowadays are more than compelling at those experiences especially sense it's in a more comfortable and controlled environment

YES!! 1. As a person that works in the movie industry the theater experience is important to me as a critic and viewer 2. I am also disabled and occasionally bedridden. I don’t want to miss a movie I’ve been looking forward to seeing bc of it and have to wait 6 months to see.

I would love that. I can’t stand the theaters in my areas and the TV and sound bar I have in my room are more than fine enough. I don’t need to be able to bear spit move through the actors mouths when they speak.

Personally I like the theatre experience of a midnight release, but you only get that with big releases, with people who also enjoy that atmosphere. So yes. People streaming at home doesn't take that experience away from me. If it did, then those people never wanted to be there.

Also maybe theatres can adapt to be smaller but show stuff people want to be in a crowd for. We can show more than just movies in theatres. Like how pubs play and sports matches, and played GoT premieres when it was airing.

I'm afraid of getting shot in a dark loud crowded room so at least half my brain is focused on my surroundings the entire movie and significantly hinders my enjoyment
