      By the way, summer is here so if you have pets remember the ground is HOT. Pick them up and carry until you find grass or a shaded area. Also bring always a cup and water. PLEASE. the ground is REALLY REALLY hot for them

      I've walked like 5 miles on blacktop with no shoes in the middle of summer before and my feet ached for weeks afterwards so I get real mad when I see people walking dogs on pavement. Especially in places like theme parks.
