tbh i'm actually extremely excited for it but lately video game hype sessions are short-lived for me bc im more worried about other things.

the release date trailer came out at the same time the BLM movement was really gaining traction. Pokémon's western social media accounts have made almost 0 tweets in that time, which is probably for the best.

It feels like it'd get at least a liytle bit more traction if circumstances were different and they had it in a direct, but even Nintendo feels like it's been relatively silent about the DLC. At least that's how it feels to me.

I feel like given the current status of the world they're staying silent to let other important things be heard, at least that's how I see it.
