Killjoy checking in, last time this went viral on Twitter the showrunner of the episode said this was probably an animation error because they never intended this to be Homer as Krusty.
That doesnt make sense; Krusty enters the episode in casual clothing, not in his normal attire

Not to mention he’s literally the only character in Springfield who didn’t get wronged by Burns because he was out in Reno, NV and came back right when Burns blocked the sun.
