I don't hate them but seeing how the different colored Yoshis and Shy Guys were handled, I'd rather them be combined and not individual slots.
At least the koopalings had different sizes and animations but yeah
smash gets away with doing that because its the clown car that does most of the moves and hides the weirdly proportioned bodies anyway it'd be a lot harder in Mario Kart where you'd always see how they're just using the same proportions which looks weird on Iggy and Morton
