Seriously I kept thinking I was out of touch or something but what the hell is the appeal of those games. The only one I enjoyed with fun/decent writing was the Telltale game. I mean I'm still likely out of touch but still

I liked the side quests, they feel less ''written by committee'' and more organic. Also the whole game is a Skinner box, and Skinner boxes are fun, just ask every MMO fan.
