I don't think I've ever seen a sub-culture as childish and volatile as Animal Crossing's, which is insanely bizarre because the attitudes I see on the daily couldn't be more antithetical to what the damn game is

it's kind of the opposite for many horror games too. FNaF for example, I always hear about how toxic and childish and cringy that community is, but just go to the subreddit, everyones super nice there. Same with Minecraft
