the premium does give a lot of benefits but I think at most it should've been 10, nothing is paywalled to hard but the basic being a wack ass extra box with GTS and pokemon bank properties is incentive enough to bite the bullet for me
Listen, I give pokemon a lot of free room but this ain't it. This ain't it because Pokemon is still promoted to kids. honestly the basic version has all the features anyone would feasibly need to get a decent pokedex together so this is the least egregious part of it all

Now do you have to pay to transfer for pay to store pokemon or both?

Pay to transfer from bank + get most of the storage Free gives you one box you can use to self trade between the switch games

Honestly I don't mind this a lot because if the only reason you buy it is to transfer the old mons then just buy the 1 month one, it's just 3 dollars The one year is too expencive tho, def recommend avoiding it
