Spider-verse and the MCU Spider-Man are different movies. There can be multiple, don't need to throw everything away just because one movie is better.

It SUCKS because Tom Holland has a great personality for the character! I just desperately wish they hadn't decided to turn his Spider Man into a class traitor lmao (Hell, he might not even qualify as a class traitor, since they also eliminated any signs he might be poor)

I mean, one was selling extremely dangerous weapons and the other was willing to slaughter hundreds if not thousands including children, just to pretend to be a hero.

In the comics, Vulture was originally just a regular crook and Mysterio was just a failed actor. The MCU CHOSE to tie their backstories to Tony in a way that made it seem like he was justified in screwing workers over because they deserved it by being bad people later on

I honestly think Peter’s arch in this movie is going to be him learning with the fact that his late father figure isn’t as good as he thinks and that he’s going to have to come to grips with it. I think that’s why it’s been set up this way

I disagree with this take cause I feel Tony while flawed is a person who tries his best to help people and Peter is lacking a father figure I will say You'd think Peter would mention his dead uncle once. It only being about Tony has gotten on my nerves.

HES THE REASON HE BECAME SPIDERMAN AND HE'S JUST NON EXISTENT. Also him getting all this super high tech kinda ruins the "neighborhood" feel of Spider-Man. Also you right Spiderverse is better
