Hop is fine, honestly he's kinda interesting. Seems even more during the post game stuff when he's trying to figure out what to aim for with his life. Honestly I like him and the other two SwSh rivals much more than someone like Blue.

I think he was a good rival character, I’m glad he was actually prevolent in the story and had actual development and struggle throughout and his big moment in the tournament was fantastic. I consider him better than a majority of the rivals in the series.
