Can’t believe the Japanese government have started Slowpoke hunting again.

I thought slowpoke tail was illegal to poach? wasn't that the reason it was so expensive and impossible to buy in Crystal?

I think in the first editions, the pokedex said farfetch was endangered coz ppl eat it

Isn't there dialogue that slowpoke tails grow back? Maybe it was in hgss or the anime but I remember that being a thing. The only immoral thing was team rocket was abusing them while doing it?

Slowpoke tails can be removed without it actually killing the slowpoke (although since their tails are not only how they get food as they use it like a fishing rod, and how they evolve, it's still harmful).

Don't worry! The tails often fall off on their own without hurting slow poke and they grow back, so no slow poke is permanently harmed in the process! (as long as the tails are allowed to fall of instead of cutting them off, which is why eating it is outlawed in some regions)
