Yeah that post lacks some basic empathy. I see what he was trying to go for but really inappropriate and lacks consideration.

Even what what he was going for was his usual "I am very very very smart" spiel. He might have knowledge but lacks wisdom due to being an egotistical smartass, which finally manifests itself in the worst way.
