I'm on the spectrum. Mine is the version where people react to me telling them I have autism the same way they'd look at me if I told them I had a gaping knife wound in my back. I'm "so normal" and they "never would've guessed" which is because we're taught to mask very early on.
It's a good moment to talk about mental health. No, nothing has happened, no one visible has died, because of that, this is the perfect moment to talk about it. Because mental issues do not magically appear when a tragedy happens, they are always there.
