    I told you not to let breathe on you.

    I was just informed by the House physician I have tested positive for even after being vaccinated. I started having flu-like symptoms Saturday night and went to the doctor this morning.

    This doesn't even make logical sense. Nobody was saying, you have to wear a yellow star if you want to go to the grocery store. They forced us to wear stars to identify us as less than human, not allowed to participate in society at large.

    I don't care what hours my employees work. If they want to start late on Monday to ease the transition from the weekend and get a little extra me-time in, that's cool. I care that they get their work done. A strict 9-5 is about control, not productivity.

    Blue Ridge, founded by William Boeing, was named for its location overlooking Puget Sound. It's another neighborhood that was whites-only at its founding. Today it's 81% white, 12% Asian… and just 0.5% Black.

    The beach in question is a short one along Puget Sound, across the BNSF Railway tracks from NW Esplanade. The private beach residents have access to is longer and further to the southwest.

    It's unclear what Broadmoor Drive E and the Broadmoor Golf Club are named after. It was the only gated neighborhood ever to be established within Seattle city limits (Sand Point Country Club wasn't annexed until the 1950s).

    This street was named in 1889 for the steamer Latona, used to ferry people across Lake Union to and from what is now Northlake. Paul Dorpat quotes Sophie Frye Bass as saying the boat itself was named for the goddess Latona, mother of Apollo and Artemis.
