    Are organisations and awards founded on the achievement of ‘excellence’ best placed to lead on issues such as diversity or sustainability? This is much more difficult, complex territory than choosing the best work of the year, says

    Depends on the platform. Most chats allow private communication — questions to prof won’t be seen by the whole class. On Zoom, the *entire* chat session is available to the host if it’s been recorded (recommended) so students should be aware their “private” remarks aren’t really.
